72. Bo & Joe Love What They’re Seeing at Dolphins Training Camp
Miami Dolphins training camp is picking up, and after two days on the practice field, Kim Bokamper and Joe Rose are already seeing a different approach under new head coach Jeff Hafley.
In this episode of Out to Pasture with Bo & Joe, the longtime Dolphins teammates discuss why Hafley's emphasis on 11-on-11 football, fundamentals, technique, and accountability has stood out from the very first practice. Bo explains why these practices feel more like real game situations, while Joe shares why the team's energy and attention to detail have him optimistic.
The guys also break down several early standouts, including Jacob Rodriguez, Chris Johnson, Michael Taaffe, David Ojabo, and the competition along the edge, while discussing why this young roster is embracing every opportunity to earn a job.
Perhaps the biggest storyline, though, is the mindset. When asked whether the Dolphins are rebuilding, Hafley quickly rejected the label—and Bo explains why that message matters inside an NFL locker room.
Bo and Joe also discuss:
•The importance of teaching fundamentals during camp
•Why the defense is ahead of the offense early
•Which young players have already caught their attention
•The value of competition throughout the roster
•What they'll be watching once the pads come on
